Slusser is the President of GTC. He is the Fine Arts Director for Camden County Schools. For the Georgia High School Association, he serves as Director of Adjudicator Training and State One-Act Play Coordinator. He is also adjunct faculty at College of Coastal Georgia and serves as Director of Music Ministries at St. Mary's historic First Presbyterian Church. Slusser is the author of Adjudicating Theatre Performance: Responding to Competitions and Festivals (Dramatic Publishing, 2010).
