We will use the body and breath to engage in non-verbal theatre. The class examines the use of touch, lifts, pantomime, and architype. Students will begin to learn how to speak phrases and sentences with their body. The work will be informed by physical theatre techniques developed by Etienne Decroux and the devised work of Forced Entertainment. Dress for movement.

Using a neutral mask, explore a state of pure presence. Break out of physical habits and into a truthful experience of listening and awareness. Learn how to neutral mask can be used to uncover universal gestures and amplify your awareness.
