Vicki Jiles Flanagan Distinguished Chair in Dance
Karyn is currently the Vicki Jiles Flanagan Distinguished Chair in Dance at Columbus State University and has a Master's Degree in Dance Education from Skidmore College. For over 15 years she performed in Broadway productions, all across the U.S. and internationally in many shows including 42nd Street, A Chorus Line, Will Rogers Follies, Sugar Babies, and others. She performed as a Radio City Rockette for over 6 years and her choreographic credits include The Drowsy Chaperone, Grease, Guys and Dolls, Anything Goes, Little Shop of Horrors, A Chorus Line, 42nd Street, just to name a few, as well as being the Unto These Hills resident choreographer. Karyn was awarded Dance Teacher Magazine's 2014 Dance Teacher Award in Higher Education for her outstanding achievements for the advancement of the dance curriculum at Western Carolina University. Karyn is also a Certified ABT® Teacher and Progressing Ballet Technique Instructor.
